Explore the Wild West through art

Welcome Video

Take students on an adventure at the Sid Richardson Museum through the artwork of artists like Charles Russell and Frederic Remington that reflect the romance and realities of the American West. The program includes a grade level appropriate online tour with a focus on three paintings from the Sid Richardson Museum collection, a digital PDF guide, and suggestions for further student engagement.

In each video, the educator will incorporate inquiry-based discussion techniques that allow the educator or parent to further the conversation by pausing the video and facilitating discussion. Responses to each discussion can be facilitated as a class, small group, or through individual responses.

*All curriculum is available in both English and Spanish
